I was, at one point in my youth, forced to keep a journal against my will by my father. He would take me and my brother and drive us someplace and wouldn’t take us home until we wrote something down, even if we had nothing too write. He would then proceed to check what we were forced to write down in these journals neither one of us wanted to write in.
